Exploring Vinyasa - Foundation, Breath, and Movement

This workshop is intended for all yoga practitioners! Teachers and students will enjoy a deeper exploration into the connection between foundation, breath and movement - the basis of vinyasa yoga. To me, there is no yoga asana (i.e. postures) without breath. And when breath becomes the link between our foundation and our movement, then you discover the beauty and wonder of meditation in movement. It will not only change your practice, it will affect your life off the mat as well!

Ashtanga - from the Ground Up!

Discovering the postures for the primary series in a workshop setting so that we have time to break it all down at a slower pace. During this 4-week workshop series, our 90-minute sessions will explore the connection between foundation, breath and movement. We'll also dive into the beautiful 'meditation in movement' role of vinyasa in our practice - which links it all together. We'll be starting, you guessed it, from the ground up!

Spring Ashtanga Yoga Weekend Retreat

A weekend retreat to deepen and evolve (or start!) your practice.  Open to all levels of ashtanga practitioners.  Whether you are new to ashtanga or have been practicing with me for years, my intention is to lead you through practices and workshops that are both inspiring and motivating.  All in the beautiful surroundings of the Kio-o Center in the Laurentians.
